Brisbane airport experience

On arrival at the Brisbane Airport this morning I quickly found that things have changed from when I was last in the area. It was almost an adventure following the trail that would eventually lead me to the Virgin Blue short term car park. For those who don't know, you have to do a full loop of the airport ring road and follow the Virgin Blue Short Term Parking Signs until you start heading west back along Airport drive away from the airport. You then have to compete with other exiting airport traffic to get to the outside lane, before turning left under the Brisbane Airtrain rail bridge and then back East once again along a service link road to the carpark. It's all a bit counter intuitive, but it seems to work. Make sure you get in a out quickly though because the car parking fees sure do hurt. The sign says $2 for the first 15 mins but you get slugged hard after that. Ouch!
